Breaking Changes

• The AI platform related features in the Ask mode chat participant has been removed. If you still need any of those capabilities, you can switch to Agent mode and use the Foundry tools in Azure MCP.

Features and improvements

• The azure_applens-diagnose_resource, azure_activity_log-list and azure_cli-generate_azure_cli_command Agent mode tools have been moved to Azure MCP server. If you need these capabilities, you can use these corresponding tools from Azure MCP applens_resource_diagnose, monitor_activitylog_list, and extension_cli_generate.
• We migrated our custom LLM instructions to use the new instructions contribution point. Existing instructions will be removed from the deprecated user settings.
• Fixed incorrect tool names in the custom chat mode files.
