Cohere expands partnership with SAP to provide Europe sovereign AI solutions
SAP brings North to its Sovereign Cloud, bringing European enterprises and governments efficient, secure and powerful agentic AI.
Today, Cohere announced an expanded partnership with SAP to meet the increasing demand for sovereign AI technology across Europe and other key markets. Through the expanded partnership, Cohere and SAP plan to provide local cloud and AI solutions to enterprise customers that address sovereignty and data residency concerns. Governments and highly regulated industries have strict security and privacy requirements and need complete control of their most sensitive data assets. As part of this strategic expansion, we plan to make our agentic AI platform, North, available on SAP’s Cloud infrastructure and Business Technology Platform to enable customers to deploy sovereign and secure AI solutions across Europe and other regions.
This builds on our initial partnership which brought enterprises our frontier enterprise-grade generative and search models within the SAP Business Suite, enabling agentic AI applications for customers across industries like finance, healthcare, manufacturing, and the public sector.
Cohere’s full suite of AI solutions combined with SAP’s enterprise application expertise can help unlock significant ROI for organizations across key markets, including Europe. By aligning with core data sovereignty requirements, this partnership allows customers deploy AI solutions that are performant, located in-region, and compliant with local governance.
