We are thrilled to share that Sameer Paranjpye has joined Baseten to lead our engineering organization. At Baseten, we’re building the inference backbone for the AI economy, and that requires a world-class engineering organization. We knew we needed to bring on a deeply technical and experienced engineering leader who has successfully scaled a developer-focused product and engineering team. We found all that and more in Sameer. Sameer is a former founder who spent the last nine years as a VP of Engineering at Databricks. He joined when Databricks was smaller than Baseten’s current size and helped scale it into a category-defining company. He brings a rare mix of founder mentality, deep technical acumen, GTM instincts, and experience building exceptional engineering teams. Sameer has seen what works, what does not, and has already proven to be an incredible thought partner. After speaking with hundreds of candidates, we are thrilled we found the right person.
