ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are hiring skilled Journeyman and/or Master Electricians to join SpaceXAI’s internal construction team supporting the rapid build-out of our data centers. This is a traveling role - you will mobilize with project teams to active construction sites, install and commission mission-critical electrical systems, and move with the work as new facilities come online.
You will work on high-voltage and medium-voltage power distribution, backup power systems, grounding, lighting, and process power in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment where uptime and safety are paramount. This hands-on position is ideal for experienced electricians who thrive in industrial or data-center settings, enjoy project-based travel, and want to contribute directly to groundbreaking AI infrastructure.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Travel with internal construction and electrical teams to project sites to install, terminate, and test electrical systems including underground duct banks, conduits, cable pulling, switchgear, transformers, generators, UPS systems, PDUs, busways, and grounding
Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on low- and medium-voltage power distribution systems across multiple active sites
Support commissioning activities such as point-to-point checks, functional testing, megger testing, and system energization

Ensure full compliance with NEC, NFPA 70E, OSHA, and SpaceXAI safety & quality standards (including LOTO and arc flash protocols)
Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and operations teams to deliver projects on time with zero incidents
Participate in constructability reviews and provide field feedback to improve designs
Maintain accurate documentation, as-builts, and test records
Mobilize quickly between project locations as construction phases and priorities shift
